Sarah Koh

Sarah joined the Cocoons staff as the Director of Finance and Admissions in 2006 and as preschool teacher in 2012. In 2019 she became the Director.

Sarah earned her bachelor's degree from Colby College with a concentration in Mathematics with a minor in Education. Before joining Cocoons she was a public accountant in Portland for 5 years, as well as, an accounting manager at Pierce Promotions for several years. During her tenure at Cocoons she has completed hundreds of hours in Early Childhood education. She spends her free time chasing around her two boys with her husband and enjoying the Maine outdoors.

Corrie Bernatchez

We are so excited for you to meet Miss Corrie Bernatchez. Corrie earned her Bachelors degree in Psychology Child and Adolescent Development from Southern New Hampshire University and has been teaching for the past five years. In her free time she enjoys hiking in the Maine woods and running her ice cream cart traveling around Maine.

caitlin wolff

We were thrilled to welcome Miss Caitlin as a member of the Cocoons staff. Miss Caitlin started her college career at Merrimack College before covid hit and is working towards finishing her degree at USM. She loves helping the littlest foster a love for the outdoors and learning. She spends her free time coaching track at the Kennebunk High School. She loves animals, outdoor exploration, and gardening-which she makes integral parts of the toddler curriculum.

ANNA STOWELL

Anna is a teacher in the Birch Room. Anna is a graduate of the University of New England with her masters in Education. Anna is an avid lacrosse player, coach at UNE and outdoor enthusiast. Her personality and energy are infectious!



Lindsey Prichard

Lindsey teaches in the Cedar Room. Lindsey is a Kennebunkport resident and mother of two sons. She was actively involved at the Consolidated School where she was a volunteer and substitute teacher for several years. Lindsey earned her BS in education from Keene State College. She speaks fluent Spanish and teaches Cocooners how to speak Spanish. Lindsey is an accomplished athlete; loves the outdoors; and is passionate about making outdoor exploration an integral part of the Cocoons curriculum.

Sandy Nadeau

Sandy Nadeau has had more than 50 years of Early Childhood teaching experience. She operated her own highly successful Children's Center for more than 15 years in New York before relocating to Kennebunk in 1999. She worked as a professor and as the director of the University of New England Campus School before founding Cocoons in September of 2001.

Sandy graduated from the University of Maine in Orono as an All Maine Woman and earned her Masters of Early Childhood Education from the State University of New York. Sandy has been happily married to Ed Nadeau of Kennebunk for 50 years and has three successful grown children and five grandchildren. As you can imagine, she is hoping for many more grandchildren! She retired in 2019 but stays on as a day to day consultant.

Grace oso

We would love to welcome Miss Grace as our aftercare teacher. Miss Grace is a graduate of Sanford High School with a certificate in early childhood education. Grace loves to spend time outdoors, she spent part of the summer studying to be a Maine guide.

caroline KuligA-Tredway

We can't wait for you to meet Miss Caroline. She is a member of the Willow Room team. Miss Caroline earned a bachelor's degree from Colby-Sawyer College. Before joining our staff she spent five years teaching toddlers at the Peabody Terrace Children's Center in Boston. She has a wicked green thumb. You are all just going to love her!

AMy Wolff

Amy is a teacher in the Cedar Room! Miss Amy comes to us with over 20 years of Montessori teaching experience and holds a prestigious Preschool Montessori Teaching Diploma. When she is not spending time with her two daughters and husband or gardening in her organic garden, she runs Wolff Farm & Lobster with her family.

Jenni urban

Jenni is a teacher in the Willow Room! Jenni has recently moved to Maine from Pittsburg, PA. She earned a bachelor's degree majoring in Environmental Science from Saint Vincent College. She has experience teaching environmental education programs and she loves to teach yoga and dance! Of course, she is also an animal lover!

Katie terwilliger-smith

Miss Katie is a teacher in the Cedar Room. Miss Katie earned her bachelor's degree in fine art from UMass Dartmouth. She is a mom to two amazing kids, an accomplished artist and an outdoor adventurer. She loves to go camping and exploring with her family.

Sophia ewy

Miss Sophia will be joining the aftercare team. Sophia is working towards a degree from  the University of New England and is an avid lover of animals and the outdoors. She is an alumni of Cocoons!
